Bath Crayons
Come on and get the kids’ hands on skills running these school holidays by making bath crayons! You read that right, these crayons are a fantastic way to get the kids into crafting, the best bit? You can use these crayons in the bath to wash up after!
Lip Balm Tubes
Melt and Pour Soap
PC Dye
Optional – kid friendly fragrance
This project is such a fun and simple activity!
Work out how many crayons you want to make, perhaps one for each colour of the rainbow! Each tube holds approx 5ml of product.
Melt down an opaque melt and pour soap, melt in the microwave in short 30 second bursts to avoid the soap from burning!
For each colour, use a tiny amount of PC Dye into the melted soap, stir well! Once you have added the colour you want to work fast, carefully pour the soap into the lip balm tubes, you can utilize the lip balm filling tray if you need some extra help!
Once the tubes are filled, put them to the side and let them cool and completely solidify.
You will end up with an array of wonderful coloured crayons for bath time, these can be used to draw fun designs on the side of the bathtub, the best bit? It’s soap so it washes right off!
