Yesterday I brought out some of my fall decor to display around the house. On the mantel is an arrangement of dried wildflowers and also my sculptural candles, together with my new metal magnolia wreath that adds seasonal golden leaves to the plain round mirror. I love the medley of browns and creams and golden tones together.
I also filled a few vases with branches of fall leaves and hung a wreath on the front door, it’s the same semi DIY burgundy wreath I had from last autumn, this year I wedged a few small stalks of dried flowers from my garden throughout the faux leaves.
I like to invest in simple wreath bases, ones that can be repurposed year after year or ones that can multitask and be used during the holiday season by adding ornaments or berry sprays or sparkly sprigs.
Below find a few simple and elegant wreath bases which can be displayed on their own or embellished with a new look each season.
